Written by the British Japanese Author, Kazuo Ishiguro, This is one of the most acclaimed post-war British Novels. The story is told in the first person by Stevens, a butler leaving a long-term post at Darlington Hall.
In the form of a letter to an unknown recipient – possibly another Butler, possibly another version of himself – Stevens recalls his life, as events from his travels around the English countryside remind him of events from his past.
